HIP Manager have just opened up a new API (Application Programming Interface) designed to enable providers to integrate a full HIP Order Management System within their web or desktop application.
The API is called 'Open Point' and works on an XML Web Service as an extension of the White Label System. Unlike the White Label System, the API provides complete flexibility in terms of the way the information for an order is collected. You create your own forms to capture the information for an order and post it to our Web Service.
Currently the initial Beta Release has a limited range of functions, however these will evolve over time to provide a rich set of controls for delivering highly customised HIP order and analysis tools.
